Medical Director
Dr. Bolfer is an experienced and passionate veterinarian committed to improving animals’ lives and their quality of life through a collaborative and specialized approach while maintaining excellent communication with his clients, colleagues, and other medical professionals. He is highly accomplished in his field with many years of experience in internal medicine, cardiology, nephrology, hemodialysis, and emergency medicine in both private practice and academic settings and has provided leadership in multiple areas of practice including academia, clinical services, research, and education.

Luiz Marques
Head Technician
Luiz was born and raised in southeast Brazil and has always loved animals. He grew up
always surrounded by animals either in his family house or his Grandma farm. He
earned a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine in Brazil in 2018 where he felt in love with
Ophthalmology. Working in emergency and general practice since, he also has
experience with shelter animals having under his responsibility hundreds of pets
between Cats and Dogs. Currently working on his Validation to work as a Doctor in
Veterinary Medicine in the US, Dr. Marques is working as a Head Tech of our ICU,
training our techs, Assistants and taking care of our patients.
When not caring for animals at the Hospital, he enjoys his time with his family and fur
babies, Lord, Lexie, Ursula and Minerva. A technology and outdoor enthusiast,
spending his time between traveling, playing games with family and friends, theme
parks, hiking, boating and exercising.
Danielle Thomas

I started in ECC as an assistant while in tech school and have loved it ever
since. I've been licensed since 2010 with licenses in PA, NY and FL. I obtained
my Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in Emergency and Critical Care in
2022. I love all aspects of emergency medicine but especially performing
thoracocentesis and watching patients that were very critical get to go home.
When not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, reading
and writing.

Dr. Tatiana da Silva
Veterinary
Dr da Silva attended Veterinary School at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. She graduated in 2000 and worked as a small animal soft tissue surgeon at the University's Teaching Hospital for 10 years before validating her degree in the US through the ECFVG-AVMA process. She has been working in general practice since moving to Florida in 2011. She has a special interest in veterinary surgery and loves spending time with her wife, Ashlie, her dogs Chloe, Jackson and Zoe Marie, and her guinea pig Ellie.

Nicholas Williams, Lead Veterinary Technician raised in St Augustine, Florida. Animal
Lover since the day he was born. Growing up with rabbits, dogs and cats gave him the
opportunity to learn respect and love for animals. After high school, he left to join the
U.S. Air Force as a special missions aviator for almost 10 years with multiple combat
deployments. After leaving the Air Force he moved back home and fell into veterinary
medicine by chance. As he grew in the career field he became a lead technician and
veterinary dental trainer amongst 9 animal hospitals across florida. Mr. Williams, when
not in the hospital, enjoys spending time with his fiance and 2 year old son. He loves
being outdoors, fishing, hiking, throwing the frisbee with his dog.
